Frequently asked questions

How much does a dog walker cost?
Most US dog walks run $20 to $30 for a 30-minute solo walk, $30 to $45 for 60 minutes, $18 to $25 for a group walk, and $15 to $22 for a midday potty break. Weekly 5-walk packages run $90 to $130. Major-metro pricing trends 30 to 50 percent above the national average.
How do you vet your dog walkers?
Every walker passes a national criminal background check, provides pet handling references, and demonstrates pet first-aid awareness. Active walkers carry a $1M general liability policy, and each completes an in-person trial walk with our team before taking a first client.
What if my dog is reactive or anxious?
Reactive, anxious, senior, and special-needs dogs are matched to solo walkers only, never group walks. Walkers receive a written behavior brief before the first visit, and we keep the same walker on every visit for consistency.
Do walkers send updates after each walk?
Yes. Every walk includes a start and end photo, a GPS route map, distance walked, and a short note on bathroom breaks and behavior, sent within five minutes of the walk ending.
What happens if my walker is sick?
Backup coverage is built into the network. If your primary walker cannot make it, a vetted backup who has already met your dog through the meet-and-greet system takes over, and you are notified before the swap.
Can I book one-time walks or only recurring?
Both. One-time walks for vet trips, travel, or emergencies start at $25 with same-day or next-day availability. Recurring schedules unlock the weekly package pricing.
Are walks really GPS-tracked?
Yes. Every active walk logs distance, route, and duration, and you receive a map at the end of the visit. It is a non-negotiable standard across the network because it protects both pets and walkers.
Do you walk multiple dogs from the same household?
Yes, with a discount. The second dog in the same household is typically 50 percent of the first dog's rate for the same walk at the same time.
What areas do you cover?
Coverage is matched to your ZIP code. Tell us your location at the quote stage and we confirm walker availability in your area within 24 hours.
How quickly can a walker start?
We match a vetted walker within 24 hours of your request. A free meet-and-greet at your home happens before any walks begin, so you confirm the fit first.
